other happenings.

when i went home here are a few of the super fun things that we did!

-joslin and i frequented jolts and juice and got a few jungle jack drinks which are our favorite! i got a gift card from a friend for my birthday so i got to use it!
- we went shopping the day after christmas and got some way exciting things! first of all one of my gifts was some money to go and get some jeans with. because i was in dire need of new jeans. so i went to american eagle to try some because i can ALWAYs count on american eagle to get some jeans that fit me right and are a decent price. so i got two cute pairs there. howEVER my real life dream was to have some super cute dark jeans. you know the kind that can be dressy? with the thick cuff on the bottom? so everyone who i had asked about their dark jeans told me that they got them at gap. so i thought i would check it out. i didn't want to buy a full priced pair so i tried the sale racks first. now i am short. and so i need the short size, or ankle as they call it at gap. now i don't know about you, but it is always hard for me to find the short sizes on the sale rack. but i wanted to try. so we were going and joslin found a size 2 that was ankle of the kind that i wanted but i was super bummed because i didn't see any that i thought would actually fit me. but joslin convinced me to just try the size 2 on anyways. ps it is not an often thing that i fit into a size 2. okay its never. BUT i had to try. so i go in the dressing room and a christmas miracle happened. they fit me! ahh i was so excited so i went out and bought them and told my mom all about my christmas miracle. other fun buys of the day were some fake glasses that are super cute and a shirt from american eagle which is a little more dressy style. i like it because i never wear dressy shirts. i don't really even own them. so it was an adventure. this is a picture of the cute dark jeans, the dressy shirt, and the glasses. i don't know what i am doing, but i liked the outfit!

these other ones are just from the trip to boise.

-we went to a fancy dinner for my dad's work. it was the dinner before the football game that i talk about next, and so there were some awards they gave out, and there were some presentations and stuff. now this was an adventure because we had to be dressed up for it. now i usually take a long time to find an outfit i like. just ask joslin. sometimes i try on like 10 outfits in the morning before i find one that is decent. SO when we had to dress up for this, like i said earlier i don't have many dressy clothes. especially when i have been living out of a bag that i brought from provo. so after like ten years and after basically all of us kids griping about how we didn't like the clothes we were wearing we were out the door. okay so we were complaining and being brats. its true. but nonetheless we made it out the door and headed off to boise. the dinner was fun, there were some other people from fruitland, one of my friends will, my old tennis coach (coach steve gary johnson as we call him), and one of my favorite teachers mr. fitch. it was good to chat with them for a bit. we didn't stay long at the dinner because we were going to the byu vs. bsu basketball game! here is me, jami and jos in our fancy dinner outfit. k so you can't see the outfit. but it was dressy.
-the basketball game was SUPER fun except for the part where byu was ranked alot higher than bsu and definitely lost. it was an awful game, bsu deserved to win (saying that hurts my heart a little). byu couldn't finish a basket, especially those easy ones we like to call layups right underneath the basket! and they sort of let bsu have a lot of fast breaks, but its okay i got over it. here's jos and i again. -we went to the humanitarian bowl! now this was a pretty sweet event, i am not gonna lie. the company my dad works for, (roady's) sponsored the bowl and so there was a pregame party that we got to go to that was for guests of roady's. alot of the people, (maybe all of them?) who work for roady's are from fruitland, so alot of the guests who came were friends from fruitland. it was kind of like a big happy reunion! we got some food and then set out for the (very very) cold game. so all of the older kids got dressed all nice and warm because let me tell you it was fahreezing outside at this point. we found our seats and then jos and i got to go down to the field because he had some sideline passes. it was way fun being right next to the field, we were right behind the fresno state football team, and then we were right on the sidelines for part of the game! my dad had 3 passes so all of us kids took turns with it and then rotated back in our actual seats. fresno state won the game and then jos and i were brave and walked out on the blue turf! haha we had fun. ahh it was a great day, thanks dad! here are some fun pictures of the crew from the game, my dad thought he was funny and asked the fresno state bull dog mascot if he would take a picture with us. :)

-new years eve was so much fun. we went to our friends the foote's house and partied with them! the footes are in our ward and they are the darling. they invited my family over and their cousins family who we also know and we just hung out, ate pizza, talked, watched tv, and played signs! the footes were all prepared and had a bunch of firecrackers, and loud noised things that we all pulled off at midnight, kade was especially excited about this one!
