its christmas!

so i love christmas day. i love how everyone is so happy and we always have so much fun together. i also love how we don't really get ready or go anywhere or see anyone. it is kind of just us hanging out with each other. it was a miracle because we slept in this year. that never happens at the farmer house. seriously. normally we have an alarm set for super early and we all crawl into mom and dads room and wake them up around 6 or 7! this year however no one even woke up until mom woke us up telling us it was christmas morning! we had a white christmas thankgoodness, it wasn't like fresh snow, but it was from a few days ago. and that still counts.

so after my mom woke us up we all waited at the top of the stairs like always and waited while mom and dad got the camera ready and turned on the fireplace and music. when they said it was ready for us to come down we all tore down the stairs to get a first peek at everything. i helped kade find his stocking and santa present and he was SO excited with what he got. these days he and alek are in love with the boise state football team. so they each got a bsu football pad set from santa! they loved it, and don't even worry i have some FUNNY videos of kade with his outfit on. oh he is a hoot. joslin and lauren got some real ugg boots which they LOVED. hannah and karli got an mp3 player that they had been wanting. it was a way fun day, and i love love giving gifts so it is way fun.

kade with his mismatch of christmas presents on. he has the byu hat from me. the bsu pants from santa. his new "under armor" shirt. his new jacket. and then he is playing with a new toy. he is too cute!
we got some onions from my uncle jim and aunt peggy. it is their little joke because uncle jim owns an onion shed and they know my whole family strongly dislikes onions. so they always drop off a box of onions and then the kids always freak and say "eww, onions." then when we open it up on christmas day there is a gift inside for us. cute!
