oh wow i am so silly i forgot to update about the girls state championship game! kind of a big deal! so BASICALLY they were playing teton. the game was going, it was SUPER windy out and the first half teton had the wind to their advantage. the first half ended with fruitland down 1-3. then in the second half, with the wind on our side, the score ended at 4-4 so it was a tie! it went into overtime which is 10 min. it was still a tie so they switched sides and had another 10 min which ALSO ended 0-0. this led to a shoot out where both teams get to shoot 5 shots from the penalty line. THAT ended at a 3-3 tie as well! so it was intense, i was talking on the phone to my mom the whole time during this just DYING because i wasn't watching it and i was FREAKING out. so anyways after that each team gets to shoot once and then you see who is ahead and this keeps going until someone wins. UNFORTUNATELY we missed a shot and teton made theirs for the first place win! second place is still SUPER good, it is just a bummer that it had to end that way! it was so close! i am so glad that the girls did so great though, second place in STATE is SO GOOD. yay.
ps haha one time i was talking to my mom on the phone getting updates during the football game (we were in front row seats again) and cosmo cougar came and jumped up in the stands with us. haha he was standing right next to me and put his arm around me and the other girl next to us, but i couldn't hang up on my mom because it was crucial information! it was quite funny, i didn't really give cosmo the attention he deserved. im sorry.

They lost in a shoot-out on a big game once when we were in town - it was such a sad way to lose a game. You're right, though, second in state is pretty amazing... go trips!
