snow and my phone update

today there was a football game. and it just so happened that it started pouring down snow right in the middle of it! k well it was actually like in the 3rd quarter. but the whole thing was freezing! i was wearing my new coat which was delightful but it was still freezing. we left near the end of the fourth quarter because we knew they were going to win and when we were walking home is when it REALLY started to pour. it was kinda fun! yet cold. when i got back to my dorm my coat was COVERED in snow! haha it was a fun day, we were all soaked!

and just an update on my fabulous phone. so i figured out that it works just fine until i close it. even if i do close it, its not a huge deal, the screen just shuts off or freezes and none of the buttons respond. so i have to take out the battery and then restart it. so no big deal right? except for the part where it is really hard to remember not to close it when you get off of the phone with someone! it is a habit. so in order to remember not to shut my phone i just stuck a rubber band around it. its actually a great idea. so ya, its not a big deal, its just semi annoying that i can't shut it, like i have to put it in my pocket like that, wide open. haha its funny. atleast the thing still functions! im surprised!
then a few hours ago i had to go to the creamery for some groceries, and the problem was it was warm in my room. and not outside. but i decided to brave it and went real quick out there, luckily it wasn't raining or snowing so i didn't need my umbrella or coat. THEN after buying my groceies i head toward the exit only to find that while i was in the grocery store a blizzard had began. atleast it was the pretty fluffy kind of snow instead of the wet, slushy kind. that was a plus. haha so i walked home super fast with no hood or umbrella! then went into my cozy room and put my slippers on. lovely.

oh oh i just remembered another quick story. i definitely saw a spider today. i was in the bathroom and i had been doing my hair and i was filling up a spray bottle with water. i was filling it up when i saw something black on the vanity RIGHT next to me and i remember thinking that it was a fuzy and that i should grab it and put it in the trash. THEN IT RAN. oh man i yelled and like threw my bottle and then ran down the hall. it scared the crud out of me, mostly because i had just seconds before thought: i should PICK THAT UP.
whew. so it was a tad bit frightening. but i am still alive.
