recent happenings....

my dad came to see me! he is the cutest thing ever. he was nearby for work so he stopped by for an hour or two to take me out to eat! i got to meet his sweet work friends and take a ride in his work truck, what an honor. he took me out to eat to california pizza kitchen which was delish and we went on a little date. we reviewed some deutsch, talked about life, and had some fun. what a sweetheart. love him!!

the biddles came to visit me! okay okay they didn't come JUST to see me but they made a pit stop to see me! the girls slept at my apt both nights and it was loads of fun even though i had to be sort of boring and do homework till late...our fun included: going out to lunch, us girls running behind brooks' car to get it started because the starter was going out (ahaha this one was comical), late night talks, sleeping in :), 50 cent orange juice, and the girls surprising me by leaving a a cute candy surprise in my candy basket! it was super fun, i just love those biddles. "i think i can handle it," was a favorite quote of the weekend....can you please watch THIS hilarious video so you can get the quote...

i miss having brooks around to talk to all the time!

haha the carts were stuck...

they are darling right? geez.

haha syd didn't know which pose to do so she pulled a "joslin." cute.

we saw the prophet speak! President Monson came to provo for a CES fireside that was broadcast and so we decided to go and listen. the thing is that we had to wait an HOUR in the cold to get a decent seat! oh well it was worth it. plus i was with my girls so we had fun with it! we are so lucky here in provo to see the prophet of the lord and then only two days later an apostle came! elder holland came on tuesday for a devotional that we went to! i really LOVED elder hollands talk, he is just an amazing speaker. what a great message. he spoke about looking forward to the future with hope and forgiveness. HERE is the full text of his talk if you want to read it, you should!

waiting outside in the COLDDD. in skirts. brrr.

honestly i don't know what i would do without these girls.

I had a great time on our date:) I'm blessed with a great oldest daughter, thank you. I'm watching the hulu video as we speak. Thanks for updating your blog, and yes the Biddles are amazing. You are very blessed to have a Prophet of the Lord come and speak, make sure you make the most of it and always go to listen no matter the weather.

Love you!

I just saw the Biddles today and thought, "YOU NEED TO COME VISIT ME!" So we are planning a slumber party. I can't wait. I'm with you on all of this! I loved the amazing devotionals at BYU. And firesides.
