oh that family of mine.

so i am wayyy behind because my dad asks me like every day when i am going to update my blog! sorry daddy...i finally got to it!

at one point we also stopped at krispee creme where we redeemed all of the kids' report cards and got like 60 free donuts. that is what i am talking about.

outside of where we stayed in brighton. we were so lucky that our friends let us stay in their house! thanks!

we were driving down from britghton and saw a mountain goat. dad pulled off to the side of the road and we took a quick peak. everyone thought it was pretty cool. especially kade.


it's true he is the cutest boy ever. he was so excited to be at byu with a byu hat on. gosh i love him.

oh my heck so i was so so excited for my family to come up and visit me, i could not even wait! the only dilemma was that the week before was like DEATH. k not really, but i was SO busy, i had so many assignments and finals to get through. i really was just saying it's okay because after you survive this week you will get to see your family! i had 5 finals to do, a paper, and a quiz. and of course i always have work every day so its not like i have a whole lot of time to do it. (plus i still have that disease called procrastination so i always make things harder on myself). well...lo and behold, i survived. my family got in on tuesday night, but i couldn't see them until the next day because i was writing a paper! that was annoying. so i finished the paper and then after my classes and work on wednesday i still had to run turn the paper in, and then take a short quiz. my poor family was just sitting in the parking lot of the temple waiting for me to finish everything! after i finished i ran over and finally got to see them! it was so nice. they pulled up in the van and that dear old van is having a few issues and so the brakes squeak really loud. haha and then i open the door and i am sure my mom planned this, all of the kids started yelling and shouting my name. haha i loved it, but i am not going to lie i shut the door pretty quick! oh gosh it was so good to see them, but it was so hard because they were like all trying to talk to me at once and i mean, i couldn't listen to 9 stories at once. so we took turns.

at this point i had a migraine which was unfortunate since we decided to go eat at the always delicious mimi's cafe! i didn't even order anything, THAT is how you know that i really didn't feel well, for me to resist food! after dinner we ran home and i actually ended up staying up for a bit after then we all crashed.

the next morning, we took a few hours to get ready, much to mom and dads chagrin. SORRY its not my fault there are eight beautiful girls who i have to help get ready and beautiful! finally we headed out and had some fun. we went to visit my work and i showed off my great family to the girls there...we got to see alicia farrar, which is always a treat! afterwards my mom and dad helped me (okay okay they basically did it for me) file taxes and we got some scholarship things figured out. when we were done with the taxes came back and found the kids and alicia all faking to be asleep on the couches, because we had taken so long! sorry girls :)

after that we checked out the bookstore, really annoyed a poor girl at the candy counter after us all getting a different kinds, and then headed to the mall to shop! it was fun shopping, we went to our favorite store forever 21 of course!

that night we played some fun games, the girls had had this game that they wanted to teach me and so we finally played it. oh my HECK it was so fun. i am going to do a post about it because this is taking too long! i think it was alek who had called sleeping with me that night, and i made sure to call sleeping with joslin the next night so that we would be able to have some fun!

friday we went to a delicious fake-me-out in and out restaurant called chadders that we love. it is in american fork, and just as good as in and out! then we went to an old navy and target that were nearby. its true we love shopping! later we went and visited out friends the watsons, friends from washington. it was so fun to be with them and just talk with everyone. alicia and lindsay came to talk as well.

on saturday we were lucky enough to go to the young womens broadcast, so the oldest six girls, mom and alicia all went together, it was so great. we had pretty close tickets and it was fun to be there with all us girls. my cousin was on a video that they showed with a local ward, so we had fun spotting her and the whispering to everyone and deciding if it was really her!

after conference we went to eat at a delicious italian restaurant with some of our family in the area, and that was fun to see everyone!
sunday the crew left! as we drove back to provo from brighton we came back to snow! where did spring go?! everyone came to my apt and had a few snacks before they headed out! i was sad to see them go, but at the same time i know it won't be that long until i am home, so it wasn't so bad.
