i know its been awhile...i am back!
recent updates:
-monica came to visit me! it was so fun to see her...i love spending time with her! her parents were up here also so they took us to breakfast one morning. thanks!

we also went grocery shopping and TOTALLY bought a real pineapple! how fun, right?!


-i had a few midterms that i accomplished, two down and one more to go this next week. but guess what?! this semester is half way over already! that is a great thing. i can't wait for this semester to be finished.
-i made banana bread today. it was delicious but after downing three slices i feel like i will seriously vomit if i eat anymore. ah seriously that was a bad idea.
-oprahs big give was on tonight! i liked the idea, but i had missed the fact that its like a weekly show where people get voted off and stuff. i liked it though, but we are going to have a serious problem because it shows at eight and i have a hall meeting at eight and then at eight thirty ward prayer! i skipped ward prayer for it tonight, because i thought this show was a one time thing. but its not. so i have a serious dilemma. after oprahs big give there was a fun show called meet the newly weds, it is so funny! i seriously love it, some of the couples are so funny. that show is going to have to become a habit.
-we had such good weather this week. oh my gosh seriously, it was beautiful. two days in a row i didn't wear a coat or even a jacket, just my short sleeved shirt and it was perfect. we decided to have a picnic on saturday, but when saturday came we didn't have as good of weather as we had hoped. but we decided to try anyways and put on shorts and a t shirt with some sunglasses and take some "summer is coming" pictures, but then it got windy and cold. later that night it snowed. SO that was short lived, but atleast we know that summer is coming! yay.
-i got to sleep in on saturday and it was a beautiful thing. just thought i would throw that out there.
-it was my dads birthday today! happy birthday dad! he is only like half way to 90 at this point. thats not old at all. :) i just love my dad, i was talking the other day to one of my roommates about how i want to marry someone like my dad! he always has lots of fun with other people, i love how he jokes around with people. i love his laid back personality and that he doesn't worry about things that maybe other people do. i love how he always wants to help other people and how he is so positive. i love when he calls me to see how i am doing and teases me about dates i go on! he is so funny.
-kade got a m&m stuck in his nose the other day. haha how funny here is the story from my mom:
Our girls had Rick stay home from YM so that we could have a romantic date for our anniversary. They had gotten a movie from the Footes and then were even going to have the little kids go over there, but I figured they would be fine as they would go to bed. Emma babysat for the councilor over the YW activity and that left Alek, Claire and Kade. So while we were watching our romantic movie, Kade came to the room and had a container. He came up to me and said "I put one of these in my nose, showing me the container. It was an m&m. (where it came from?) Rick thought he was going to be going to the Emergency Room for our romantic evening, but the good thing about m&m's is that they MELT...so yeah it began melting and you can imagine the rest. Oh Kade...
-it was my parents anniversary the other day! the kids surprised them with breakfast in bed and cute decorations. they also got 50 dollars for a fun date, which they actually ended up using to go to the FHS state basketball game for the whole family. my parents are so cute, i love how you can always tell that the love each other, even if our family isn't perfect and we have some issues and problems, they always do little things for each other that show how much they love each other! it is darling!-the fruitland boys basketball team won 1st in state! too bad for the other schools that fruitland like dominates at sports. shoot we are good.
-my family is probably coming up for their spring break! ah i am so excited, alicia farrar is probably coming up and then my family and some of my FAVORITE cousins the biddles will hopefully come as well! i can't even wait! and my friend anne will probably come up the weekend before with joslin! yay.
-my mom got a new blog for modbe...we are still trying to work on her getting one for the family updates, it is coming soon! here is her modbe one.
