the day before valentines i worked from 1-7 which isn't really that long, but i had class from 9-1 so i was rather tired by the days end. i was going to go and take a little quiz that day after work for a class but i had a migraine so i just went home to to go to sleep! this is where the fun part begins. i had to be at work on the 14th at 4:00. am. so i was talking to rachel (a friend from work) and we were going to walk there together. then we decided it would be even more fun to have breakfast together before we went! so at approximately 3:00 am rachel came on over and we had some pink pancakes to celebrate the day. it was a lovely occasion. we quickly walked to work and then started wrapping flowers! i really like flowers. but i sort of got tired of them after that day. (don't worry i am over it and i love them again) i could not even believe how many flowers we had out! and seriously they were almost all gone after the day. amazing. so i worked from 4am-6pm and really i wasn't as tired as you would think i would have been! my poor boss michelle didn't even get to go to bed the night before because she was at the store planning out the night, so i wasn't too bad off. when i got off of work i was sort of tired, mostly i just felt weird. so i came home and there was a little surprise for us girls! our fhe boys had decorated this for us...they called it our super cookie. it was so cute, john decorated it just for us. fun!
these are some of the valentines that i made from jos and i to some of our friends. i am kind of a slacker and didn't make cute cards or anything, but they turned out alright! we wrote "why we love [insert name here] " on the inside and then put hearts in the card with reasons why we loved them! i liked them. plus that candy is delish.

Sounds like fun. Who needs a date when you can be busy at work? At least the fhe boys came through!
Don't worry I am pretty sure she had some kind of date... by the way I need some updating... cute idea i will have to steal that one next year.. it is way better than a store bought card that anyone else can get. I love it! You are soo cute!
um ashley no i didn't have a date. silly girl! i know i know i so need to update you these days.
oh thanks about the card! ya the idea was cute...i just didn't get to spend much time on them! you should totally do it next year. although i am just warning you it is hard to think of reasons why you love people. i mean i know that i love them. i just couldn't think of good reasons why. haha oops?
