random happenings

thursday i had a work party for cc&f and it was so fun! all of us new girls, about five of us, were in charge of a musical number for the party, lucky us. but it was amazing, we sang a song that was based off of the noel song, it had different verses that used words that sounded like noel. the first verse was saying santa's name has no "L," the second verse how jack and jill had "no well," and there was another that said captain ahab had "no whale." so the song was cute, we got all into it and it was funny. then we had a gift exchange and i ended up with a fun toy. its hard to explain...its like a tube and when you turn it upside down it makes a fun "woop" noise. haha does that make sense? we went over to the boys' house to show them our new toy after i got and ben accidentally broke it. well technically we don't know if it was him but after he played with it it stopped making the cool noise. so that was sorta lame, i mean seriously im at college i don't have alot of toys with me. oh well we played and had fun with it for about a solid hour so i would say it was worth it.

on friday i went to a concert...it was super fun! it was just ben and i and it was an iron and wine concert. the concert was great, i had never heard of iron and wine before, but they are good! i liked the slower mellow songs the best, the ones where they kinda started rocking out weren't my favorite. the girl who sang with him had such a beautiful voice. oh man it was so like pure and perfect. she was my favorite part. it started to snow HARD on the way back, it was so pretty. (don't worry mom we were going nice and slow and it wasn't dangerous. at all.)
on the way home we stopped at wendy's to get some delicious chicken nuggets on the way home! it was a fun night.

then i went to bed and gloriously got to sleep in this morning. who doesn't love sleeping in?!
