my dead phone and basketball

two things.
a. my phone breathed its final breaths today. first of all on friday it was having issues because i couldn't hear through the speaker. which is a problem when you are trying to talk to them. however, atleast i could still text people with this problem. then it just all went downhill from there and last night when i tried to charge it...it wouldn't charge. and so today it finally died and there isn't much i can do about that. sad day. good thing i am going home this week so i can shortly get a new one. but it is really annoying.
b. on friday night i was super bored. like i didn't know what to do, i couldn't call anyone cuz my phone was broke and like hmmm some of my roommates were annoying me a tad bit so i went in my room to read a book for a class and thought "who wants to do homework on friday night?" not me. so i borrowed my roommates phone and called my mom and chatted for a bit. even though she was going to bed. i told her i was bored and wanted to talk. then luckily ben texted me and so i told my mom she could go to bed now because i had a friend. soo ben texted me to see if i wanted to go shoot some hoops which of COURSE i wanted to. so first we were just shooting outside and then there were two poeple on the other end of the court who asked if we wanted to play 2 on 2 against them. so we played to 21 and it was SO fun. i haven't played basketball like for real in a long time! and it was for real cuz i was playing against/with guys so it wasn't fake. and i like playing with guys cuz it is more intense! and fun. anyways i enjoyed it, and then when we were finishing up that game some other people came out (jill, brandon, david, hank) and we decided to play 3 on 3 but it was a little more laid back because jill and hank don't play basketball. i really remembered that i love basketball. and don't even worry about it i am suuuper sore. but i like it.
