so i guess i should update this dang thing since i haven't forever!

ready go.

a. the biddles came to visit on friday night and it was super fun to see them! i hadn't seen brooks since before his mission so it was great fun to see him! syd and mccall spent the night with me and we basically partied that night. they are so fun, i love the biddles so much!
b. there was a football game on saturday and it was such great weather! i just had a long sleeve shirt on and i was hot at times! beautiful weather. that was nice.
c. i have an exam this week. for american heritage and i am not excited. its hard to be motivated to study hard when i know that the test will be hard and i am not going to do very well on it anyways. hmmm.
d. i worked a TON last week, like 8 hour shifts monday, wednesday and friday. work is super fun though, since i have worked there for a while now i am getting more used to it and know more of what iam supposed to do. the girls there are super fun, i just love that job!
e. yesterday jill, ben and i went on a sunday walk. it was so fun, it was a tad bit cold but it was nice out. when we were walking there was a huge pile of leaves, and so jill ran up ahead and jumped in it! then we made the pile a little bigger and i decided i wanted to jump in, cuz i have never really jumped in a pile of leaves before! so i went ahead and kinda just jumped backwards, like onto my back. ya definitely not as fun as it looks in the movies. the leaves are not a squishy and soft as they look so don't be fooled. my tail bone hurts from that lovely experience.
f. for halloween we had waffle wednesday like we always do, except this time it was festive! it was super fun, we had a halloween table cloth and plates and then i dyed the milk orange. also this year kids came around the dorms and trick or treated so we had some candy to give out which was fun. after we all ate one of the boys there taught us this way fun game that we played. its kinda like the telephone game where you pass a message around and see what it ends up like in the end. you start out with a piece of paper and someone writes a really random sentence at the top. like "mice run through a city." or something weird like that. then you give it someone else who draws a picture of that sentence. then you fold over the top so they can't see the sentence at the beginning and pass it on to someone else. this new person writes a sentence of what they think that picture is. then they fold over the picture and someone else draws what that sentence says. anyways you do that a few times and at the end you end up with some crazy new sentences that are totally different then in the beginning. so we played that game for awhile, it is super fun!
g. i have been really really looking forward to the christmas season for many reasons, one of those being because then i can wear my christmas shirt that says "tis the season" that my friend brittany gave me. today i just had to wear it! so i know it isn't christmas season yet, but i couldn't help it. i had to.
h. last night there was a CES fireside so we watched it on the byu channel and it was so great! it was elder oaks and his wife, it was so funny! it was a great talk you should all look it up and read it!
i. i went tunnel singing last night with jill. she has been wanting me to go with her for a few weeks so i tried to get the boys to come along with. tunnel singing is when like 100 people or so, maybe more, gather under the tunnel by the marriott center sunday night and sing hymns! its super fun! so finally we got ben and david to come along with us, john was lame and didn't come. when i was talking to the boys right before hand trying to get them to come ben said that he would come if i went dancing. because they know i hate dancing. that was not even a fair trade. because technically i went to the halloween dance. even if i didn't dance. i was there. but its okay because eventually he came anyways!
j. tonight for fhe we are making turkeys! haha i am excited, we are cutting out our hands and then writing what we are thankful for on them. should be fun. ps does anyone have any great exciting ideas for fhe? we need some good ones. oh and i never wrote about the fhe last week i don't think. it was so fun! we walked up to the temple and sat on a hill up above the temple so it has a pretty view and we had a little lesson thing. lydia and sara prepared the lesson it was on the difference between self worth and self esteem. it was a wonderful lesson and it was fun because everyone was commenting and participating. and plus it was a fun walk! haha that night i was on my computer and trying to listen to a james taylor cd and it was totally scratched so couldn't really listen to it. i was talking about this to the girls who were in the room and saying how annoying it was, because i really wanted to listen to james taylor! just then my roommate sara walked in with the best of james taylor cd! she had it so i got to listen to it after all! that was a happy day. (oh and side note: my parents definitely went to a james taylor concert last week! the bums! i heard it was great, im jealous!)
k. i am leaving for my home in less than two weeks! SO exciting! there are so many things that i want to do. watch all of the kids' basketball games that will be happening that week. go bowling with the boys from nyssa. hang out with the girls who were in my grade. take a bagillion pictures with monica. go to walmart with monica. alot. talk with jossy for HOURS! sleep in my bed. drive my old crappy white stickshift car! match kade. have PUMPKIN EVERYTHING for thanksgiving dinner. decorate for christmas! go christmas shopping with melissa. see my grandparents. go to fiesta and eat delicious chicken taquitos. watch august rush at the theater. play the piano and sing with monica. play tennis. go shopping for bronzer because i haven't had it for a few weeks and i am dying in the pale winter months without it. call elle, casey and scotty with joslin. get a bunch of new things from monica: cds, boots, and makeup! eat delicious food that i don't have to cook. get a manicure with claire. work on my scrapbook/3D journal with all of the girls in the scrapbook room. be with my FAMILY!
l. last night i talked to one of my friends who i hadn't talked to forever! it was one of our friends from efy, scotty. we (jos, elle and i) met him and casey (they are cousins) at efy in 06 and then we talked alot and planned to go to efy again this past year. so we went together again and it was so fun! those boys are so great, they make me laugh!
m. i talked to monica too. can't wait to see her in real life because it will be so much more exciting. phones just don't do justice.
n. i know i am so bad at updating this regularly, instead of a lot of small posts more often, you just get a huge one every once in a while! deal with it!
