so alicia my dad and i had been planning this big surprise birthday party for my mom at p.f. changs for the day after her birthday. we had invited some of my moms friends, lindsay who lives in provo and then my moms great friend merrilynne who used to work with my mom at modbe. we went to temple square to stall before p.f. changs but eventually my mom told us she was hungry and wanted to go eat somewhere.
we headed off to eat but there were a few difficulties and merrilynne and family couldn't come. my mom enjoyed the surprise though and it was delicious as always at p.f. changs!
we met merrilynne later at smart cookie so my mom was able to see them which was fun! alicia lindsay and i were going to stop in really quick at ikea, but anyone who has been to ikea knows you can only "stop in" so fast. it took a bit longer than expected so we met them at smart cookie a little later.
jos slept with me in my dorm again, this time with a few more difficulties. i had remembered yesterday morning letting kade hold my keys to my dorm, he liked to keep them in his pocket and then when i needed them i would grab them. maybe not the smartest idea to let a 4 year old hold the keys, but he's cute. on our way to the dorm (we were diving with alicia and lindsay, my parents had gone back to the hotel a while back) i realized i no longer had the keys. when we got to the dorm i had to ask someone who was outside the building to let me in, then in order to get into my room i had to knock! my poor roommate sara had just barely gone to bed but luckily she wasn't asleep yet so i got in! a tad bit embarassing.
