i haven't done a "empty my mind" entry for awhile.
here goes.

the semester is almost over. what the heck? how did that happen? suddenly i am going to california in two weeks to work for the summer! i am excited, of course, but also like sad to be leaving this place. it's always funny how that happens. i am so excited for this semester to be over though, wow, that will be wonderful. but i will miss my friends here. and i always hate leaving because i think that since i am living somewhere else next year i won't see like any of these people again. except for like my few really close friends. hmm.

i am still in the tennis intramural tournament. i am playing in the championships tomorrow against this girl who i have already lost to. sooo if i win then i still have to beat her again, since she hasn't lost yet and i have. so wish my luck on that!

so yeah, i already sort of said this, but i am going to california in less than two weeks! bah. so fun. i can't wait to be down there hanging out with elle, but i am super sad that jossy won't be with me. oh well i guess we will like hang out ALL NEXT FALL AND WINTER cuz we will both be in provo. which is wonderful.

this next week is finals. those are always a bit stressful. but they are almost over. i can do it.

our easter church meeting today was wonderful. our bishopric bore their testimonies and we had some wonderful musical numbers. one thing i was really thinking about was how God KNOWS how we feel. and can feel what we are feeling. and he understands us. like even when i am having a relatively good time, like my life is happy right now, right? but there are always those things that are hard in life, somethings that are stressing me out or that i worry about. and he knows abotu them. even if its something that you are having a hard time explaining to your best friend who you tell everything to, God knows it. he knows what you are trying to say and how you are feeling inside. i love that.

i had easter dinner at my cousin brady and amandas house. that was fun! i made a DELISH sweet potato recipe that actually turned out pretty well.

now i have to hurry and do a few extra credit reports for my LAST DAY OF HUMANITIES tomorrow. i really hate that class. can't wait till its done!

yesterday was THE busiest day at work ever. okay i mean maybe not ever, because valentines is always busy, but it was close because there were only 3 of us there! there were three dances around town and so that meant we had a ton of corsage orders, plus people were coming in the day of to make all sorts of orders. then people wanted easter baskets delivered to their kids, easter flower arrangements for their mothers-in-law and i mean the list goes on. favorite parts of the day? well hanging out with tasha all day while i frantically am trying to make corsages. and ha when this girl came into the store and something in her purse starts making a "meow" noise. i am thinking, what in the heck? and she pulls her phone out and answers it "meow." HA funniest day of my life. oh boy.

k only a few days left then i can have a rest. whooo.
