whatever i think i write

it has been sunny out here lately.
oh except for on monday when we had a freak snowstorm...yeah except for that.
but this weekend atleast it has been warmish.
i LOVE the sun.
ich liebe die Sonne.
it just makes my day.
makes me happy.
puts some pep in my step.

today i went to the nursing home to sing like we do every sunday but TODAY i brought some hot pink nail polish and when we went to see this sweet and HILARIOUS lady Amron (thats Norma backwards. she likes that better) i painted her nails for her! it was so fun, i just love going to see those people. it's so sad though. it makes me want to stay healthy to keep out of those homes, what a sad place.

this weekend i hung out a bit with my friend linds. i just love that girl. i mean it wasn't too long, we just went on a short little shopping trip. don't worry i got some cute things. she helped me find some dark jeans, even though i am picky about my dark jeans!

then i went and played some more tennis. i mean what's new right? ha but it was a GREAT day for tennis. and gosh serious i have an obsession with that sport. i can't WAIT for this summer to be engulfed in it all the time. plus i feel like i am getting better which is fun right? oh and HELLOOO jami told me the other day that all of my sisters (well the ones in H.S...so jami, lauren, karli, and jos) all made varsity tennis! anddd they are all on the top 5! ha so 4 out of the top 5 on the team are farmers!! yeahhh. i love it. can't wait to watch them.

this next few days are going to be MADNESS i have an accouting midterm (=death), a paper due, a deutch pruefung (german test), and plus a few other random things. oh like a tennis match (since i won my first one last week! yay). BUT you know why that is okay? becauseee i am leaving for SEATTLE on thursday morning for a PARTY weekend in which my lovely friend alicia and james are going to be wed! and i will get to see many friends and my family..and oh man i am so so excited. overall it will be a wonderful weekend. and i can't wait.

oh and everyone want to hear an embarassing story?? okay the other day at my tennis class (tuesday) i was playing and it was after that freak snow storm that we had but luckily it had been a sunny day so the snow had melted. well all except in the shade of where the fence was and there was this strip of ice in that shaded part. so our coach made sure to tell us to be careful and watch out for the ice because he didn't want anyone to get hurt.

sooo we are playing along and we are almost done because the sun went down and therefore it was FREEZING. so we were finishing up sort of and we were playing doubles. a guy on the other team lobbed it over to us and so i decided to SPRINT to try and get the ball, even though i probably wouldn't get to the ball in time. so i runnn over there and completely forgot about the ice and BIFFED it hard. i guess it looked like i hit the back of my head really hard, i landed on my back, and so everyone freaked out and kept asking if i was okay over and over. my coach ran over to see if i was okay and everyone just kept checking to be sure if i was alright. i sat there for a second because i was a bit dazed and because it HURTbut i knew i didn't hit my head. my hand hurt the most, i think it was between the raquet and the ground when i fell, so it got squished a bit. and then my back and legs hurt pretty bad. but i was so so embarrassed about everyone looking at me so we got right back to playing pretty quick afterward.

anyways i have some pretty cool bruises to show for the fall, which i am pretty proud of, because i never bruise! bahaha so sorry, if you live aroud here i have PROBABLY showed you the evidence of the accident.

okay that's all the updates i have for now.
life is good.
march madness is about to begin.
