so valentines is a pretty great holiday, right?
when you work at a flower shop you get a whole new perspective on things...
i worked 51 hours this week.
plus, i do, you know, go to school.
things got a little crazy, i feel like school for the week pretty much went down the drain. i didn't really see my friends. but you know what? i loved it. i love my job. my mom would call and ask me how i was surviving this crazy week, and that's what i would always tell her: i love my job!
the girls i work with are just great. the whole time, even if it's madness and we are running around filling orders, racing to fill up a bucket of water tubes, blowing up balloons, or cleaning 1,000 roses, they are still cracking jokes and making me laugh. even if it's at 4:00 am and we are all maybe a little delirious because we only had 3 hours (or 25 minutes?) of sleep. i get to hear my fare share of fun stories: some involving traveling australian boys, the three amigos, some involving crazy singles dances, or just an update on each others' lives.
i am so lucky to have this job and to work with the girls i do.
