see jill sara and i all pinky promised that we were going to go. well we never physically used our pinkies but i did say the words "okay. so we are going, pinky promise?" and they both replied with a yes. those of you who know our dear friend jill know that she often changes plans and so she decided not to go after all. it's okay we still love her.
i was sad she wasn't coming though.
then the day of the concert i got this killer migraine and was so not excited to go. i tried to sleep for an hour and a half but that didn't help, and excedrine wasn't doing the trick. but i couldn't leave sara in the dust so i decided to make an attempt. so off we headed to campus to watch this concert. we were meeting our friend nate there, he had saved us some seats (thanks nate.)
well, as it turns out, i loved it. i don't know why i was so grumpy about going in the first place, it was wonderful! the band is SO so fun, besides the fact that they can sing, they can sure rock out on their instruments! i swear they could all play like 4 different instruments. it was amazing. they were super entertaining also, cracking jokes the whole time! i sure enjoyed it.
so sara and i felt pretty brave about that, i mean look at us going out and doing social things! it was great. the sad thing is we forgot our cameras so we don't have pictures. BUT the memories we will always have, always have.

did i mention i love sara?
how did i get so lucky to have her for a roommate?
who knows.

They're cool. They came to seattle a few years ago (okay, it was probably like 8-9 years ago... dang it, I'm old!) and they were fun to watch and listen to all those cool instruments that they play. Glad you went!
Way to up date the blog...I mean remodel it. Micah is friends with Ryan Shupe and he sometimes comes to some of Micah's parties and I get a star struck. I just love him. Love you more though!
amazing concert, no?
i saw them last semester and they rocked my frickin' socks!
