manicures, red robin, and the jo bros.

so the triplets turned 16 and we realllly wanted to surprise them and have a fun day. we started planning long before their birthday came around and found out that the jonas brothers were coming to concert in sacramento on july 16th, their VERY birthday. i mean how perfect is that? so we talked my mom into getting some tickets and started planning for the big day....

the morning of their birthday we went into their room and with hannah on speakerphone so that she wouldn't miss out on anything we woke them up and gave them the first clue to a scavenger hunt that we had around the house. the scavenger hunt eventually led them to their room that had some presents all set out and most importantly the JONAS BROTHERS TICKET FOR THAT VERY EVENING. we also let them know that in a few short hours we would be leaving to get pedicures and then to go to red robin for a birthday lunch. so we had some delish crepes for their birthday (i mean really do we have to spoil them anymore?!) and then started to get ready for this FUN day!

i totally forgot my camera for the pedicure and red robin part, but i mean my feet DID look pretty cute after it was done. (even though we were like 3o minutes late to our appt. because i couldn't find the dang place that the lady who i called for directions BARELY could speak english let alone explain to me how to find the building!)

after the fun pedicures and lunch part we met elle at home (she couldn't come with for the day part because she had orientation which was QUITE a bummer). we had to wait awhile while she figured some stuff out because she had registration for all of her classes the next day! so after we got that all ready we were on our WAY!!

ya and this is us trying to find the place. like it was not in a city. we were like shouldn't this thing be visible in this farm land? the map said it was like anywhere nearby and we saw this little farm...ya it was just down the road.

i mean i am kind of in love with the jonas brothers now. i didn't even barely know them before we went to the concert, it was just for the trips birthday you know? (because i forgot to MENTION that the trips had never been to a concert before at all which made this even more exciting and then plus the fact that it was the jonas brothers who they LOVE) but now days whenever their music comes on i freak. so ya i am just going to admit it right now. i love the jonas brothers.

so i made us all some SWEET shirts so that we all looked hard core. and like DIE hard fans right? i mean if you are going to a concert you have to go all out. so we had some fun ones...

they did a sweet drum solo, i liked that part.

so ya i mean what a fun day. we rocked out to a little second hand serenade and some more jonas brothers on the way home just to celebrate the fun. dream 16th birthday? i'd say.
