yesterday was SUCH a fun day.you see, sara is having a birthday next week, and so as to celebrate, we decided to throw her a surprise birthday party! i conversed with her sister amy in secret and we made some wonderful plans. we had planned on having one last waffle wednesday, and so we just combined that with sara's party. amy distracted sara by casually asking her if she wanted to go the mall, and while they were out we decorated and planned while she was out.
after waffles, 2 fabulous cakes by amy (cheesecake and mint chocolate cake), and a bunch of friends to chat with, the night was a success. the best part of all was that sara totally didn't even expect it! it was a wonderful way to have the last waffle wednesday of the semester.
