i am loving my classes this semester. i have a physical science class that i thought was going to be gross, but i am enjoying it actually! i always am learning these new things that apparently most people in the world already knew! i had a physics class in h.s. but only for a semester because the teacher was...retarded. not helpful. a nice person. not exciting. any of the above. so whenever i get to do my reading for physical science i always learn new things! sometimes when i am excited i tell my roommates. and then they ask me why i didn't already know that. how many of you knew that if you shot a bullet and dropped something from the same height they would land at the same time?! ya its true. because of the gravitational pull. OR that in a vacuum (so there was no air friction) a feather and a penny would hit the ground at the same time! ya. we saw it in an experiment. SO ya i am enjoying that class. other than that i have BOM from a wonderful professor, brother parker. then i have MFHD (which i think i might major in? i am working on that) and then anthropology and student development. ooohh and i love love student development. it makes me think that i want to be a better student. its one of those inspirational classes that makes you want to do better. i'm trying.
so other than that i am working alot this semester which is enjoyable. i really like the girls who get to work with. we had inventory at 7 in the morning yesterday when we had school off...but it wasn't so bad! we made waffles!
quick update on this semester:
-we went sledding: the girls in my apt totally didn't want to go and neither did i. it was for fhe though so some of us went anyways. turned out to be a BLAST. soo fun.
we called this one the blob.i was freaking out a bit.
which is why my eyes are closed.
-rachel got her hair cut. its cute.
-i went to a concert.it was called seawolf i believe.
pretty good.
-ummm, sara and i are redoing our door. as in the pictures and decorations on it. and i am redoing the kitchen. its getting boring. ill update on that later.- i am signing up to be a TOPS mentor. i don't know what that stands for. but you get to be a t.a. in a classroom once a week...i am doing kindergarten, how fun! i start next week.
-i played tennis today. it was great.
-i woke up one morning at 5:45 to go work out! okay so i only did it once. but it was pretty great. i might even go again sometime.

HA FHS physics, what a joke. you should have stayed though..he literally gave us all A's for effort, plus we went to seattle, and when you left justine was stranded as the only girl.

ummm. even i knew about the feather and penny! ahha. did you know that you could kill someone by dropping a penny off a tall tall building? you make me laugh.
Ugh. I hated physical science. i didn't understand it at all, but I think I still got an A. How does that happen (I'll tell you how... they curve the scores and include a paper that everyone gets 100% on).
Do you have Norm Roberts for student development? I loved him and the class. I took it really close to graduating, which was slightly embarrassing.
