yay. no more classes for me! i am so glad! still finals though. which puts a damper on things. but its okay it will shortly be over and i will be at my home! today after my last class we went to eat (we being me, ben, lydia, and sara) and then we met some of my washington friends there. it was jennifer's birthday so we had icecream for her! well actually just she had icecream. but still.

so i was thinking. maybe i should make this blog private. because you know that anyone in the world can read this? isn't that a bad idea? like i put my life story on here. so how do you all feel about that?

the other day in american heritage we had the last lecture and it was SO great. ah like it made me so sad that i am done with that class! (even though i basically DID not like it the whole time because it is hard. but i just remembered how much i like it) it was one of those kinds of lectures that totally inspires you so that you want to go and conquer the world. now i want to be better at doing service. i want to learn more about the world. i want to write in my journal better. or ever. i want to be a better person. SERIOUSLY i told my roommate who is taking american heritage next semester that i am going to go with her to the last lecture. and i am serious.

so on monday night my roommate rachel was having some boy issues so we had this great idea that we would have a sleepover. she got back kind of late (actually i think it was like 11 and i had gone to bed early that night! ya thats it) and i was partly asleep so she crawled into bed with me and we were talking. it was so good. i haven't have a good girl talk for a long time and it was so fun! thats why i need joslin here with me. cuz we are good at having girl talks. SO basically it was so fun, and then the next night our room was FAHREEZING and so rachel slept with me again so we would be warmer. our heater was broken apparently on tuesday and wednesday, it was 65 degrees in the kitchen and it gets colder as it goes down so rachels room was so cold. so we slept together and don't worry our heater is finally working. we decided to call our room alaska though since thats what we called it when it was cold. so we are going to put a sign on our door saying "welcome to alaska." im excited for it.

on monday we watched this movie with brandon and ben that was so crazy. it was called, well i dont actually remember what it was called. but it was where they have a third world war and so they decided to take emotion out of the world because they figure out that that is what causes wars. so no one can feel things. haha they call people who break the rules and feel things "sense offenders." i thought that was funny. but ya the movie was weird. i think i liked it. but i don't know.

ahh and i am SO excited we are going to the mall on friday! because a. we haven't gone christmas shopping and b. we decided that it is kind of like part of going to college to brave it and go on the buses. so that should be fun!
