so my dad told me that he checks my blog all the time and i don't update it enough. so this is me updating it for him :)
haha no but i was going to post today anyways just because today was such a darn good day! i keep having those good days.
so me and jillianne made a batch of cookies today and then we figured out that it made alot more cookies that we expected. so we gave them away! first we gave a plate away to our fhe girls. then we have a plate away to a girls room on our floor...we decided we need to make friends with them! i already knew some of the girls in that room and they are way fun. so we went into their kitchen and they had rearranged alot of the furniture in there. they had some cute flowers on the table and then sunlight was shining in, it was just really cute and homey.
SO we of course decided that we wanted to make our kitchen cute and homey. first step was that we rearranged the furniture. it looks SO much better. you wouldn't think that it would make that big of a difference, but it did! unfortunately we have a big tree outside our window though so the sunlight didn't really shine in like on theirs but it was good anyway. THEN we decided that we would hang up cute things on the wall. so we took a bunch of scrapbook paper of mine and cut out random shapes and just stuck them places. what we really want to do it get some big butcher paper and make cut outs of each of us girls and hang them in our hall! i think it would be so cute and fun! however i don't know where to get butcher paper around here. any ideas?!
when the other girls woke up and got home (some were sleeping, one had to work, and one was at her sisters) they came in and saw our newly rearranged kitchen and they all loved it too! that was good because it took me and jillianne a while to do it! overall i just realized how fun all of the girls are! jillianne and i had some fun and random conversations while changing everything and baking, she is such a fun girl! we technically should have been doing our homework, but we were bonding! haha
later on we also brought our fhe boys some cookies, they are so fun! we have the best fhe group i am pretty sure.
we had a fireside tonight also. it was a stake fireside and it was a great one! the only problem was that in the middle of it i suddenly got a REALLY bad migraine. which was a bummer considering that this was a good day and i had great plans for the night. so luckily i managed to make it through the meetings and i am alive. however i am going to go to bed because i still have a slight migraine.
well that was pretty much the funnest (i know thats not a word but i like it) night here so far! don't even worry i will soon have pictures up of my roommates and i! so ya, i love my roommates, i have good classes, and the president of our church is coming to speak to us on tuesday! i am so excited to hear president hinkley speak, i will be sure to tell you all how that goes.
i love my life!
oh i got to talk to my sister today also which makes me happy. well i mean i talk to her everyday. but i just thought i would throw that in there. because she makes me happy.

You can buy Butcher paper at the copy center right next to CCF I think. The Creamery might even have it. I'm so glad that you are so happy. I am so happy that you love your roommates and classes (Laurie -we are good!)I love you.
I'm glad you're having such a good time! It sounds so great. And I like how you just bring people cookies. That's a fun way to meet people. Where I live, you meet people when you go smoke hookah on the basketball courts at night, or go get drunk or wasted. So it sounds a little different. :D Don't worry, I haven't been getting into that. But the night before classes, my new friends invited me to hang out and it turns out they were just going to smoke hookah. I didn't participate, but it was pretty fun to watch. :D Glad you're having such a good time and that your roomates are good!
